She has served and continues to serve on corporate, professional, and nonprofit boards (especially dedicated to serving Military, Veterans, Career-givers and children. Additionally, she served on White House-appointed boards at the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of State, has taught at five universities including George Washington and UC Irvinek and is the author of five publications.
Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business (Majoring in Economics/Finance) with a minor in Educational Psychology from Robert Morris University and a Master of Science in Human Resources (Organizational Behavior and Development) from The American University’s Kogod School of Business.
She also served as a Mediator with the DC Superior Courts for a three-year period, where she achieved a 98% dispute resolution rate.

Kathy Naylor
In this role, Kathy helps leaders solve their most complex and pressing business, leadership, and human capital issues. In today’s world of constant disruption, those issues include everything from navigating the future of work to enabling the digital organization—all centered around how to optimize the intersection of the people and business performance.
Throughout her extensive year career, Kathy has worked with some of the world’s leading organizations and has led worldwide initiatives to improve capability and effectiveness. She has been a speaker on market trends, human resources, disruption, leadership effectiveness, coaching, emotional intelligence, and innovation—key topics impacting organizations. She offers wisdom and thought leadership in the area of solutions.
Before founding CAL Solutions, Kathy served in high-level capacities in technology services, telecom, manufacturing, professional services, and the Federal Government as a presidential appointee. Notably, as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer/Change Champion for a medical center. Since the establishment of Cal Solutions, she has engaged with several bio-tech, healthcare, and medical device clients and also help a full-time senior leadership role in a medical device company.

Mike Naylor
Mike is also a defense industry executive, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at PKL Services, which provides aircraft maintenance, pilot training, and logistics support to domestic and foreign military services.
He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Colonel after 30 years of distinguished service. His leadership roles included Deputy Commander of Marine Corps Installations West (similar to a Mayor Pro Tem), Executive Assistant to the Deputy Commandant of the Marine Corps for Programs and Resources (CFO of the Marine Corps), and U.S. National Liaison Representative to NATO Allied Command Transformation.
He commanded two separate Marine Corps training organizations and was a Marine pilot with over 5,000 flight hours. Notably, he served as a Presidential Pilot and Aircraft Commander for Marine One, flying Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in National Security Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at National Defense University, Washington D.C. He also has financial certifications and serves on several boards.
